Melvin R. Shaw

He was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is the husband to Troyanna Marie Shaw and proud father of Tyler Martin Shaw (4 years old) and Taylor Madison Shaw (1year old). He is the Youngest of three siblings and the first to attend a four year University as well as pursue a career in Real Estate. He stands firm on spiritual and family values and his overall happiness is what satisfies him as your Realtor.

After graduating from High School he attended college at North Carolina Central University and as well as Coastal Carolina University before realizing that the career that he wanted to pursue and be successful at was right before him. "He wanted to be a Realtor."

Inspired by his love for Real Estate, Mr. Shaw attended Coldwell Banker Real Estate School in Durham, North Carolina and successfully obtained his Real Estate Broker Licensure. Upon completion he joined Coldwell Banker Howard Perry & Walson, Real Estate Company as a Team Member in 2007.

As an addition to his experience, he joined KB Homes in Atlanta Georgia in 2008 and worked as a Sales Representative where he gained knowledge in community management and New Home Sales.

Prior to his real estate career, Mr. Shaw has worked in general sales for over 12 years. His past employment opportunities have all been beneficial his development in becoming the effective communicator, detail oriented and goal-driven achiever that he is today.
